CMAQ Results

The following links are animated gif files showing the effects in CMAQ of the corrected emissions layer fractions in the minus the original 2018 Base Case. Red indicates where deciviews or O3 increase as a result of the corrected point source emissions.

You should be able to view these with your browser or download them by using the right mosue button if viewing online is too slow. There are diffrences on the order of 8 ppb O3 and 10 dcv for many days. The changes are concentrated in WY, OR, ID, CA and UT. The changes are much smaller for AZ, NM and WA. There are both positive and negative changes. It may be possible that there were also errors in the temporalization or that adding back in the correct point source NOx inhibited the chemistry and improved visibility for some grid cells.
